Okay, my newest goal, besides continuing to tweak the blog, is to see if I can get CADD on a stick. I want to somehow get a 2-D drafting program that I can run off of a flash drive. 3-D would be better, but 2-D is fine. It does not have to be AutoCAD, but it should be able to import/export DXF/DWG files. It has to run in a Windows environment, and fully run off the flash drive. Customization files, fonts, sub-routines can also be used, they just have to be on the flash drive as well.
It is a pretty simple idea, but may not be doable. I have briefly searched for it, but have come up empty handed. There are others with the idea, so I know I am not alone. It is a challange. Ideally, I would like any and all software that I use to be portable. It would be great for working in different offices, job interviews, impressing clients, etc. Setting up for the next job, project would be a snap. Any thoughts or insights would be appreciated.
