excellent. I think the low-carb diets are the way to go over the low-fat. Staying away from sugar is a bit hard, but I think that the high sugars (corn syrup, hydrogenated especially) do worse things to the body over time than fats. Sugars just end up wearing out your pancreas.

When we did Atkins, I dropped about 20 rather quickly. Slow and steady wins the race though.

I do not think you will win. I have a lot more to loose than you do. You only need to lose 12 more pounds to get to your goal of 145 anyway.
