Today, my niece Sarah turned 14. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SARAH! It’s hard to believe that she’s a full-fledged teenager with only a couple of years left until she’s driving!! Hopefully they’ve found a special way to celebrate the day for her.
Sarah, I know we don’t get to talk much, or see each other much, but I wanted to let you know that for me, 14 was a pretty good year. Don’t tell your dad, but it was when I had my first kiss, got my first boyfriend (not necessarily in that order, however), got to wear makeup, and started to feel like I was coming into my own. Hopefully your 14th birthday will be the begining of a year full of new achievements, great accomplishments, and lots of good times. We love you!
