NaBloPoMo – 21st post

This lame post will fulfill the day’s obligations. 

In other news, we have now planned our trip.  We have decided where to stay and even when we plan to leave and get back.  All those things are very important when going on a trip.  We are staying in Lafayette, home of U-la-la and the Rajin’ Cajuns.  Definately a cool mascot name.  Forget Beavers or Wildcats or Tigers, put the fear of God in your opponents with a drunken, hillbilly cajun.  Anyone seen Southern Comfort?

We will be stopping Hebert’s Meats to bring some of Acadia home with us.  We will bring a cooler with us and may even have to pick up another one as well.  We don’t need a whole lot of room, but some of this is gift buying as well.  The hotel we will be staying at does have internet access, so I should be able to continue blogging from the bayou.  Blogging from the Bayou – sounds like a great song title.  I picture either CCR or the Doobie Brothers singing it.

RC is burning a disc with missing BSG and Heroes episodes, so that will be fun too.  I’ll get caught up on both shows.  I am looking forward to a couple of days off and having a good time with good food and good family.  Friday is game day, so: BEAT THE HELL OUTTA t.u.!!!!  Yes, my blood runs maroon!
