Plop, plop, fizz, fizz….

It must have been something I ate.  We had a great Turducken Day!  We had a buffet meal at the Riverfront in Abbeville, LA.  It was a really good meal with turkey, pork loin, ham, dirty rice stuffing, cornbread stuffing, corn, green bean casserole, broccoli cheese casserole, sweet breads and dessert.  Oh yeah, mac and cheese too.  It was wonderful, we all had a good time and the kids even ate too.  Eating with Aunt Doll was a treat in itself.  After the meal Debbi and the kids went for a short walk.  I went for a short walk too.  I walked straight into the back bedroom and layed down.  I took a short nap.  My sinuses kicked in the night before and my head was still hurting at that time.  It was a nice rest.

At around three we returned to the hotel for some down time, but returned to Abbeville to have dinner with Tippy.  That was a much smaller meal of ham, mac and cheese, lima beans, and pecan pie for dessert.  We got abck to the hotel at about 9:30ish, did the beadtime routine, and went to bed.  We did get the chance to watch a little bit of Leno.  It was an all military audience.  Well, most branches of the military were there.  It seems that the Navy was lost on the 405.  They showed up about 20 minutes into the show claiming they were stuck in traffic.  The rest id DVR’d at home.  It should be a good one.
