What I failed to learn in science class….

The boiling point of beans of course. We went to lunch with RC & SB today after church. The place we picked is known for their adult videos..er…drinks, not their food. Yea, that explains this meal. I should have stuck with drinks. Anyhow, I ordered simple beef enchiladas, not a hard meal to screw up. The meal was served on cool to chilled plates, and the food cooled off quickly. The cheese did not even melt the food was so cool. It was room temp at best, but was more like reheated leftovers. I mentioned this to the waiter and he took my plate. Wow, the new plate of food was hot and steamy. Yes, the beans were boiling, the chili con carne was bubbleing as well. I just sat there and laughed because I could not do a thing. I waited about three minutes before even attempting to take a bit, and that one I blew on first. The plate was no longer white but had a burnt tinge to it as well.  Five minutes after starting to eat, I was still blowing on my food.  The rice had cooked itself (adheared) to the plate and was crunchy too.  While funny at first, this was completely uncalled for.  I thought they may have comped the meal, but they did not.  It will be a long time before I go back there.  I will have to be very thirsty too.
