Well, I haven’t done a very good job of recapping Idol so far this season, but I will comment on the results show last night. Good thing for TiVo – I was able to watch a 30-minute show in about 15 minutes. Diana Ross performance: costume was better than the singing, imo. Talk about pitchy! Though she looks great for her age, I must admit. Bottom 3: America had a lot to choose from for those bottom feeders. I was absolutely shocked that Sanjaya was in the bottom 3 – with the VFTW effect I figured he was safe. NOTE TO IDOL HOPEFULS: If you want to succeed, make sure you suck more than Sanjaya. Then you can be assured of your safety until he leaves the show. I wasn’t entirely surprised to see Brandon go, but I thought he deserved more than one week in the final 12. Enjoy the tour, Brandon. We hardly knew ye.
