After a decisive 9-0 loss to Oakland last night, the Rangers have currently lost 4 out of their last 5. Their only win during that time was the last game in Tampa Bay on Thursday night, which they tried very hard to lose. I do believe the Rangers are officially out of the hunt now.

Humming faintly? No, I think it is pretty obvious now. The last I heard the Rangers were winning tonight and that would put them only eight games back with 29 games left.
