I’m not dead yet….I’m feeling much bettah!
They say Hodgkin’s you say non-Hodgkin’s…let’s just call the whole thing off. Well, we have the 100% official diagnosis. I do have lymphoma. We do not know exactly what kind yet. I spent Thursday having scans so that we can stage it. We are still awiting those results. My day surgery to have an excisional biopsy has turned into a really long day…some 72 hours or so. I have now told several people at work, and others will more than likely learn soon. We do have an idea of what stage we are at, but want to wait until that is official. I am now on the seventh floor of Zale Lipshy University Hospital watching some football game held at the Cotton Bowl. You think people would have better things to do. I mean really now! Shouln’t that energy be spent on something better? Like finding a cure for cancer maybe? :-D I will update later on, but wanted to get the official word out. Prayers are always welcome.
