Hospital Research

Okay, Hodgkin’s does have very few advantages.  One being how much I have already learned about it.  The other learning about hospitals.  I have had people come out of the woodwork to help me during this time in my life.  I have suggestions of drinking certain products, do this, don’t do that, etc.  I have even been told about what hospitals to use.  It has been interesting to say the least.

The first on people’s lips was the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.  It is just a hop skip and a jump away from here.  Also mentioned were Sloan-Kettering in New York, the Cleveland Clinic (can anything good come from Cleveland?  Besides Drew Carey and the Tribe?)  The Mayo Clinic was mentioned as well.  I guess the ketchup clinic couldn’t cut the mustard.  Wait!  Hold the Mayo!  It’s in freakin’ Minnesota!  That is just way too cold.  Johns Hopkins was also on one person’s lips too.

I have an appointment with UT Southwestern in Dallas as well as one with MD Anderson in Houston.  I should have a lot more information about all this in about 12 more days or so.
