and the winner is…..

well, no one really.  I have been getting different things fixed now that I have a real ISP.  I tested out the VPN connection with work, and it works.  Yea!  I have also got the torrents working, well somewhat.  I made the mistake of trying to downlaod an entire season of a Battlestar Galactica (my new favorite show), and it is now pushing 12 hours and an pretty much stalled at about 55%.  I should have gotten the shows one by one.  Mu guess is the the individual shows would take an hour or so, so I should be close to being done now.  I’m not.  That pretty much sums that up.  The good news is that the torrents do not take up a lot of computing power, so I can still do work.  I am excited that the torrents are now working because I can start to download more music for the ipod.  Mind you, this music is music that I do not want to convert to digital from either album or tape.  I did buy the music, I am not stealing it.  I am just not re-buying it.  This fulfills my post for the day.  Later, peace out.
